各位同事：大家好！

随着2020年11月23日贵州省宣布最后9个贫困县退出贫困县序列，至此，中国832个贫困县全部实现脱贫，其中有10个曾经的贫困县是我们的实践基地。换言之，为了今天中国精准脱贫攻坚战的成功，我们每一位同事都付出了心血和汗水！在这里，我要为大家点赞！让我们一起来享受这个来之不易的成功喜悦！

基金会作为为中国精准脱贫事业付出过努力和贡献的一员，香港大公报最近采访和刊登了KGKF在精准脱贫决胜之路上的历程和成效，现与大家分享。

虽然精准脱贫攻坚战今年将完美收官，但它只是“为了人民生活更加幸福美满”之大目标中的一个阶段性目标的完成，是实现中国梦道路上的一个里程碑。接下来的乡村振兴工作将开启一段新路程，我们同样会是这段新路程中的积极参与者。在KGKF2.0“人的培养、质的深化和面的覆盖”三大工作方向、建立“爱心乡镇”和“爱心社区“两大工作策略的指引下，让我们继续为国家的“乡村振兴”添砖加瓦，为造福一方百姓做出我们的贡献。

各位同事，让我们一起为中国梦的实现撸起袖子加油干！

Subject: Road to victory

Dear colleagues: Greetings to everyone!

With the announcement from Guizhou Province on November 23, 2020 that the last nine impoverished counties have been removed from the country’s poverty list, all 832 registered poor counties in China have been lifted out of poverty, of which 10 are the rural bases that we have been working on for more than 10 years. In other words, for the success of China's targeted poverty alleviation battle today, every one of our colleagues has put in heart and time! Here, I would like to congratulate each one of you! Let us celebrate this hard-won joy of success!


As the Kerry Group Kuok Foundation has made diligent contributions towards China's poverty alleviation efforts in the past 13 years, Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao recently published a feature on KGKF's journey and achievements in this road to victory. I am pleased to share this with you.

Although the fight against “absolute poverty” will officially come to an end this year, it is only the completion of a phase in the ultimate goal of bringing a brighter and happier life to the people, and is only a milestone on the road to the realisation of the Chinese dream. The next phase of "rural revitalisation" work  which is more related to “relative poverty” will be the start of a new journey, and we will also be active participants in this new endeavour. Under the guidance of the three major work directions of KGKF2.0 "developing more change drivers, deepening impact of our model and spreading our impact further", and the two major work strategies of establishing "caring townships" and "caring communities", let us continue to contribute towards the country's "rural revitalisation" and create sustainable impact to bring a brighter and happier life to the people.

Dear colleagues, together let us roll up our sleeves to strive for the realisation of the Chinese dream!

彭先生的这封信和《大公报》的这篇报道，我在微信群里和同学们分享过。不过当时信只有中文版，没有英文版。

彭先生一般是先写英文，再译成中文。我想，可能因为这次受众是嘉里集团郭氏基金会（KGKF）的同事，考虑到很多人并不懂英文，彭先生才写信中文信的吧。
