As indicated by the government statistics, last year, the urban population has surpassed the rural population for the first time. Under the current government policy, the migrant workers are still not entitled to enjoy most of the public services and benefits such as education, medical and housing which the city citizens are enjoying today. Without the special skills and capabilities, the migrant workers would normally have to take jobs with lower pay and longer working hours. All these makes the lives of the migrant workers extremely difficult in the city. They become the working poor of this society. What makes it even worse is that their difficult lives may pass onto their children. This has created the serious social problem of cross generation poverty.译文：

There are similarities between the working poor in the urban and the rural areas. They are all hardworking people with jobs. However, it doesn't matter how hard they work, looks like it's still so difficult for them to make their ends meet. However, despite all the hardships, they can still 笑給老天爺看. They 樂天知命，不怨天尤人. I think the society should provide those people who can always 笑対人生 a fairer opportunity, so their hard work can be matched with better rewards. With this in mind, two years ago after we have put our rural model in practice, we began to establish our urban model first in Hong Kong, now in Beijing to address this critical social problems in the cities. 译文：
