浓雾中的温哥华（彭定中2009年1月于加拿大温哥华） [复制链接]

  2009年1月16日，彭先生因公途经温哥华，以下是他想和我们分享的风景和故事。





原文：Stop over in Vancouver again. This time is in the winter. The city is buried by the very thick fog. Looking down from the Grause mountain, you can see only the tips of a few downtown tallest buildings floading in the sea of fog.

译文：我再次在温哥华稍做停留，与上次不同的是这次是冬天了，整座城市都被大雾所淹没。从Grause山上往下看去，只能看见城市中最高几座建筑的楼顶漂浮在茫茫雾海中。






原文：Downtown in the heavy fog

译文：浓雾中的闹市区






原文：Harbor and Stanley Park in the fog.

译文：迷雾中的海港和Stanley公园






原文：If you really want see sunshine, you have to go above the fog into the mountains. It was really refreshing there. My coughing from the previous Guizhou trip suddenly all disappeared.

译文：如果真的想看见一点阳光，你得爬上山去，冲出雾阵。在那里，空气和风景实在清新怡人，我上次贵州之行染上的咳嗽突然间全都消失。







原文：No matter in the cold foggy night or nice sunny day, I think the best place to be in the winter is still a nice warm place besides the fireplace. After having returned to asia for so many years, I still miss in those snowy days, with a nice cup of tea, some gentle music and a good book, the joy of reading through many quiet nights. Hope one day you can all enjoy this wonderful experience.

译文：不论是寒冷逼人的大雾天，还是阳光明媚的大好天，我想在温暖的壁炉边找个地方安座度日仍然是过冬的上上之策。回到亚洲这么多年了，我还是怀念北美多雪的冬日里我在壁炉边度过的那些时光：泡上一杯好茶，播放着轻柔的音乐，打开一本好书，在无数个静夜里安享阅读的乐趣……希望有一天你们也可以体验到这种美妙。

呼和浩特的冷我还算可以接受。不知道温哥华那里会怎样。
