主持人:吴宇轩, (濟南) 濟南大學, 信息管理與信息系统 彭先生縂結原文:Thanks go to 吴宇轩 for leading tonight’s monthly meeting with the subject “Life under Pandemic”. As we all know, the war against virus is a protracted war, not a war of annihilation. We have also to accept that after the COVID-19,people’s lives will not be the same. We are living under a huge unknown. Like it or not, living under the pandemic, we may have to change our mindset. The recovery from the COVID-19 can be a long process, and its shadow will take much longer to disappear. With that in mind, 陈江俣 is right that “所以对于疫情我基本上是一种既来之则安之的态度,因此整体而言,我觉得我的生活受到疫情影响还挺好的。” As you all shared your experience of the lockdown and social distancing measures. But we cannot afford to be forced by the virus to cut off all our normal flows of people, goods, information and money for a longtime. Without the flow there will be no lives.Under the pandemic, knowing the post crisis change will be inevitable, we cannot go back to the old normal. Let’s better prepare for the new normal we are going to face in the near future.COVID-19 has brought lots of damage to the global economy. Difficult time like this, it’s always the right thing to do to conserve cash for the prolonged downturn. The best analogy for today might be referring back to 1942, Nov 10thwhen Britain had just won its first land victory of the war, Winston Churchill declared in a speech to the country “It’s not the end, not even the beginning of the end. But it’s, perhaps, the end of the beginning.” For some of you, the virus has stolen 3 out of 4 years of your university life. Having shared all our different problems under the pandemic we are facing tonight, I am glad to see we all still stay healthy, and try to live a meaningful and joyful life. We’re still hoping for the best that we can get together face to face this year to celebrate 素蘭‘s 20th year anniversary. In the meantime please continue your 广場舞 practice. I’m looking forward to seeing your 可可托海的牧羊人广場舞‘s performance during our 20th year birthday celebration. Please take very good care, and looking forward to seeing all of you in a month! Good night!
