来自四川绵竹市九龙镇新龙集镇社区村民们的感谢信 [复制链接]

（编按：四川绵竹市九龙镇新龙集镇社区在嘉里集团郭氏基金会多年来工作的培养及影响下，村民们都能表现出“讲公德、守规范”的良好素质，在2020年获得两个国家级荣誉称号，因此村民们为基金会总裁彭先生及全体工作人员呈上一封感谢信，以表达感恩之心。）

Dear Dr Pang,

Hello！

We are villagers from the former Xinlong Village (now the Xinlong Community), Jiulong Town, Mianzhu, Sichuan. We are very grateful to you and all KGKF staff members for your support to our village over the years.

Time flies, but the sense of fear still lingers in our hearts when we think of the “2008 Sichuan Earthquake”. The disaster once made us hopeless and helpless. However, we were also lucky that KGKF came to our village and brought us hope. You helped us rebuild the houses that were damaged in the earthquake and improved our infrastructure. You helped us cultivate a team of villager preachers, which improved all villagers’ qualities – we have got rid of the mentality of “waiting for luck and handouts”, we now care and help each other. You helped us develop enterprises of growing lotus root and other vegetables. The teaching of technologies in breeding animals such as rabbits and pigs, increased our income and raised our awareness of integrity and rule abidance. You have brought vitality and benefits to our village’s economy. Moving by KGKF’s mission of “respect for nature and love for people” 敬天爱人, the former Village Party Secretary Dong Yunhua developed two young successors, Yin Ting and Gao Yuanming, who have led all villagers to be caring and rule-abiding, and our village has won two honorary titles – the only “National-level Key Village for Rural Tourism” in Deyang City and the only “National-level Beautiful Village for Leisure” in Sichuan Province.


The changes today were the results of efforts that you and all KGKF staff members made. We will continue to enforce KGKF’s mission of “respect for nature and love for people”, to influence and drive more people to pass on the loving hearts.

Finally, we would like to thank you all once again. Wish you a peaceful life!
