Hope you still remember your visit to Broad Technology Corporation last summer during our annual Changsha meeting.

Broad has a noble mission, 保护生命. It is to protect lives of ours as well as of others, for this generation and generations to come. This is a great purpose, 大境界。However, it takes many small steps to be able to accomplish this great purpose.

Obviously, caring for the environment is a good place to start. It would be very helpful, if we can all learn to reduce the consumption and cut the waste of the natural resources. In this regard, I was glad to participate in a simple inauguration ceremony for this small waste oil purification and recycling plant in Hunan yesterday.

希望你们还记得去年夏天在长沙开年会期间，我们曾经去远大参观他们的科技工业园。

远大有一个崇高的使命——保护生命。它既包括保护我们自己的生命，也包括保护他人的生命；既包括保护我们这一代人的生命，也包括保护未来的子孙后代的生命。这是一个大境界。但是，要达到这个大境界，我们需要在很多小细节上去付出努力。

很显然，要保护生命，从关爱环境做起是一个很好的开端。如果我们都可以学着去减少对自然资源的消耗和浪费，这会对保护环境很有帮助。在这点上，我很高兴在昨天在湖南参加了这个废油清洁和再循环利用装置的启动仪式。

原文：
You must also still remember the concept of the "sustainable building" from the visit last year. It is to build buildings which consume much less natural resources compared with conventional building construction and can be operated and maintained with minimum waste of energy. Since your visit last year, this 30 story earthquake resistant hotel building was built in 15 days after the foundation work and today is operating in an extremely energy efficient manner.

译文：
你们肯定也还记得去年参观远大时看到的“可持续建筑”的概念。和传统建筑相比，“可持续建筑”在建造期间对自然资源的消耗要小得多，在建成使用后和对能源的浪费也要少得多。这座30层高的抗震酒店是在你们去年参观远大之后建好的。在地基工作完成后，这栋建筑的建造施工仅仅用了15天时间，现在则正在以一种非常节能的模式被投入使用。

原文：
To accomplish that, many small but necessary details were carefully considered and implemented in the building. For example, all the garbage at each floor was carefully sorted out into 7 different categories before it was disposed.

译文：
为了在这个建筑中做到节能环保，人们很细致地考虑到了很多细微但是却很是必要的细节，并且严格地去执行它们。譬如说，每个楼层的垃圾都会被仔细地按照七个类别进行分类，然后才被送去进行处理。

原文：
The garbage is then collected at the basement floor of the building for further recycling and waste treatment. The sorting for recycling of the garbage seems like a minor detail, 小细节, but it is the broad participation and the mindset change of the general population of the entire society which will enable us to eventually achieve our great purpose,大境界。

译文：
垃圾被分类后，会被集中到建筑的底层以便进行接下来的循环回收处理。对垃圾进行分类看上去好像是一个微不足道的“小细节”，但是，只有全体社会成员的广泛参与和人们思想理念上的转变，才会最终让我们达到我们所追求的“大境界”。

原文：
To further realize the great purpose,to provide a sustainable environment for this generation and generations to come, the development of this 220 stories of sky city is underway. When it's completed, it will effectively provide a living and working space for about 60,000 people. With all the measures taken for energy and resources conservation, it will help to establish a model for the future green living.

译文：
为了进一步实现我们的“大境界”，为了为我们自己以及为我们的子孙后代提供一个可持续的环境，远大正在计划建造这座220层的“天空城市”。建成之后，它将可以为大约六万人提供便利的居住空间及工作场所。因为采取众多措施来实现对能源和资源的保护，这座建筑将帮助人们建立一种未来绿色生活的模式。

原文：
A few years ago, I visited Broad for the first time, a waitress at the cafeteria came to remind us that we should finish all the food on our plates so we don't waste the precious food. I was quite impressed that the culture of "do not waste" has been established and penetrate deeply into the entire organization.

译文：
几年前我第一次去远大，在自助餐厅吃饭的时候，曾经有一位女服务员走过来提醒我们应该把盆子里的饭菜都吃完，这样才不会造成粮食的浪费。“杜绝浪费”的理念已经如此深入到这个企业的文化中，这给我留下了深刻的印象。

原文：
It is this type of the small details 小细节 in behavior change which will lead to the fundamental mindset changes then eventually enable us to realize our great purpose 大境界 of making the world a better place for ourselves, our children and generations to come.

译文：
就是这样一些习惯上的“小细节”的改变，会从根本上改变人们的思想观念，最终让这个世界变得更美好，从而达到我们所追求的“大境界”。这些都是为了我们自己，也是为了我们的孩子，以及更遥远的未来的子孙后代。

可惜 要把这些小细节普及到广大民众身上还需要很长时间啊

莫以善小而不为

还记得在远大餐厅吃饭的经历，真的感觉很舒服。融入其中就有一种原生态的味道，在城市之中生活几年都没那么种感觉，很像小时候在家吃饭一样。

        正如于蓝说的，要把这些小细节普及到人们的日常生活需要很长的时间。城市里也有很多垃圾分类的举措，但是，很多人并不在乎这些微小的细节。也许这是很多人还没有把自己融入自然中。还没有真正的保护自然，敬畏自然。
        对于远大的220层的高楼，我去年也质疑过，不过，我还是祝愿它能美梦成真。
       

“扫一屋”与“扫天下”，“小细节”与“大境界”！！！


传长沙欲建“世界最高楼”，莫非就是“远大”欲所为？？！！！

确实！远大应该将自己的这些“小细节”更多的推广到社会

小处，虽然只是体现在了垃圾分类，节约化的酒店，和餐桌等方面，但是一些无形的方面我想也会得到了体现，因为节约观念深入人心，那么在使用一张纸，一支笔，和办公等方面的效率，应该也会得到体现。

远大的这种企业文化真的值得很多人学习，不管是大境界还是小细节

希望能早日实现这个大境界，说实话，我还是觉得有些“任重而道远”。
在我们医院，很多地方都提示着讲究卫生什么的，但是我还是能常看到一些人就随口吐痰，真是不能忍！！要知道很多疾病就是通过空气飞沫传播的，更何况医院这个细菌病毒集中的地方，更加容易引起各种传播。
哎~~不说垃圾分类处理，只要不要随口吐痰，随地扔垃圾就好了。
