If you still remember that we were invited to visit the Broad City during last year's Sulan annual meeting. I am pretty sure you were very impressed by their plan to complete the construction work of a thirty-story high rise building in 15 days.

The very short construction time will of course enable us to save human and natural resources. The special design of the building will also enable us to greatly reduce the waste of energy as well as the waste of building material. It emphasizes that almost all the building materials are reusable. It therefore generates almost no architecture garbage. With that in mind, Broad has indeed introduced a sustainable building. I think it is a great contribution to the society and mankind.

During my talk in the Broad Annual Meeting right before the Chinese New Year to an audience of about 3,000 Broad employees, I gave a lot of complements to their innovation and their tireless efforts which has made their dream of the sustainable architecture a reality. However, I also emphasized to them that only when the sustainable people live in the sustainable buildings, the buildings can then be truly sustainable. With that in mind, it is extremely critical for us to develop more people with the mind set of sustain ability. The people who care for the environment, the nature. The people who care for not just themselves but also others. I think that's what we are trying to do in Sulan.

春节前，我去参加了远大公司的年会。我在这次年会上为大约3000名远大员工做了一个演讲。在演讲中我给了远大人很多的赞誉，因为他们通过不断的创新和不懈的努力，让可持续建筑的梦想成为现实。但是，我也向他们强调了一点，那就是——只有当可持续的人住进这些可持续的建筑时，这些建筑才能真真正正成为可持续的建筑。正因如此，培养出更多的持有可持续观念的人对我们来说显得至关重要。这些人关爱自然与环境，公而无私，关爱他人。我想这也是我们素兰基金会一直努力在做的事情。

远大，一个先进技术与人性管理融合交织的集团，这一点，在远大之行中给了我们很深的印象。
建可持续的建筑，节省建筑材料，减少建筑垃圾的产生，我希望我也相信这会是一个被发展的建筑建造趋势。可持续的人，彭先生在很多会上给我们强调了我们人的可持续性，是的，人是可持续的，改变思维取向，改变行为方式，一代，一代，将一切美好的品质与事物传承持续下去。
