2011年7月底，彭定中先生途经温哥华，以下是他给大家带来的风景和故事。

原文：
As you all know, one of the very important ancient Chinese teaching is that the nature and the people are in one, 天人合一. It taught us that we, people are an integral part of the nature, and we can not separate from the nature or live against the rhythm of the nature. I guess that's the foundation of the thousand years old Chinese medicine. Through history, people have been trying to create something better or more beautiful than that of the nature. However, we have found out that after all, the creations of the nature are always more profound than the creations of the people.

译文：
你们都知道，中国有一条很重要的古训，就是讲究“天人合一”。它告诉我们，人类是自然界的一部分，我们不可以把自己从自然界里分离出来，或者是违背自然界的韵律去生活。我想流传了几千年的中医学的根基也正在于此。有史以来，人们一直在试图创造一些比大自然更好或者是更美的东西。但是我们发现，最终来说，大自然所创造的那些东西总是胜过人类的创造，大自然的神奇造化，总有人类创造所达不到的地方。

原文：
Of course the colors and the fragrance of the natural flowers can never be imitated in any artificial manner.

译文：
当然，自然界里那些鲜花的色彩和芬芳，是用任何人造形式也模仿不了的。

原文：
The green grass field can bring life back and revitalize people's weary hearts.

译文：
青青的草地可以带回勃勃的生机，并让人们疲倦的心灵得到抚慰。

原文：
Looking at those children from the nursery running freely on the green grass, their happy voices re energized me.

译文：
看着这些幼儿园的孩子们自由自在地在草地上奔跑，他们欢快的喊叫声让我精神为之一振。

On the grass, I caught this beautiful scene of the mother and her little girl. Their expressions blended in naturally, which formed a perfect harmony with this green grass field.

多么美好的一天，与自然相处总是让人心情愉悦。

看着小狗追赶小女孩的那幕，觉得特别的温馨。

在上海只要天气好，草地上就能经常看到很多老人家在遛狗。记得有次看见一位老人家明明是他来溜小狗，结果走到一半的时候，小狗死活就是不愿跟他往前走，并且还掉头就往回走，狗与人僵持了大约一分钟，估计是老人家心疼狗便又折回来跟着小狗走，俨然小狗已经成为了他生活中不可缺的一部分了。
