This is the first time I have the opportunity to visit Russia，a country with vast territory and many proud people. Sochi has been a quiet southern Russian resort along the Black Sea until it was selected to be the venue of the 2014 Winter Olympics. Walking along the shore of the Black Sea, listening to the sound of the waves, I was reminded of the history of wars and peace alternating in this part of the region.
