台湾原声童声合唱团-玉山天籁Vox Nativa Choir Taiwan
2017年岁末，在台湾和大学的老师和同学们演讲和交流之后，我有幸被邀请去欣赏一场由台湾原声童声合唱团演出的音乐会。那天晚上孩子们的歌声自然清澈并充满力量，他们纯净且具穿透力的音色，给我带来的不只是感官的享受，也为我带来了不少心灵的震撼。At the close of 2017, I visited my alma mater in Taiwan to give a lecture for the teachers and students and exchange thoughts with them. Afterwards, I was honored to be invited to enjoy a concert performed by Vox Nativa Choir Taiwan. That was an evening beyond sensual pleasure. Children’s singing was natural, clear and powerful. Their tone had a pure and penetrating quality. Indeed, it sent waves of shock to my soul.
    原声童声合唱团的孩子们都来自台湾南投县的布农族,就好像湘西的土家族和苗族一样，布农族素以歌唱见长，对布农族的人来说唱歌就是生活，生命，喜怒哀乐都以唱歌来表达。Those children belong to the Bunun ethnicity group in Nantou County,Taiwan. They are similar to the Tujia and Miao peoples in Hunan Xiangxi, who are also talented singers. For the Bunun people, singing is the way to live. Their singing embodies the singer’ emotions and essence of life.
这些在台湾大山里的孩子们就像在湘西大山里面的孩子们一样,由于身处偏远山区，除了交通不便资源缺乏之外，还存在许多其他不利的因素影响了孩子们学习发展和成长的机会。Like the children in the mountains of Hunan Xiangxi,those children in the mountains of Taiwan also live in remote mountainous areas. In addition to the lack of access to resources, there are many other factors that adversely affect children's learning and developmental opportunities.
2008年在南投县玉山脚下的东湖国小有一位能做梦也会逐梦的人,他就是原声童声合唱团的指挥和创始人马彼得校长。马校长原来是一位体育老师，1993年起才开始接触儿童合唱指导，他汇集了布农族的传统歌谣，慢慢教导孩子们从头开始 一步一步的学习，由于他对音乐的敏感性及独特见解，因此他为布农族歌謡合唱作了全新的诠释。In 2008, at the foot of Yushan Mountain, Nantou County, at Donghu Elementary School, there was a man who dreamed and also strove to make his dreams come true ——Headmaster Peter Ma, who was the founder and conductor of the children’s choir. Mr. Ma was originally a sports teacher who began to work with the children's choir in 1993. He brought together traditional Bunun folk songs and slowly taught children those songs one at a time. With his musical sensitivity and unique insights, he made a totally new interpretation of the Bunun Song and choir.
他的梦想是帮助这些大山部落里没有机会的孩子们建立创造机会的能力，让他们能为自己创造机会 ，成为部落的典范 ，然后回馈部落为其他更多大山里没有机会的人创造机会，最终能帮助带领大山裹贫困人群走出跨代贫穷的恶性循环。His dream is to enable those opportunity-deprived tribal children in deep mountains to create opportunities for themselves, so that later on they could become models of the tribes and contribute to the tribes by creating opportunities for other impoverished members. It is hoped that, eventually they will help lift the poors in the mountain out of the vicious cycle of intergenerational poverty.  大概十年前，马校长在南投県信义乡开始召集大山部落中低收入贫困户家庭的孩子组成了台湾原声童声合唱团，除了学习知识之外，也让孩子们从音乐中找到内在力量，从而学习感恩，尊重，包容，互助，自治，负责与纪律的精神，让孩子们藉音乐来帮助抚慰他人，也在其中找到了生命的意义。About 10 years ago,Headmaster Ma started recruiting choir members among children from low-income families in the Xinyi Township of Nantou County. He believes that the choir experience enriches children’s knowledge and also allows them to find inner strength through music. In the process, he aims to cultivate in children the quality of gratitude, respect, tolerance, mutual aid, self-government, and the spirits of responsibility and discipline. Meanwhile, music is also a vehicle for the children to help soothe the needed ones and search for meaning of life.  除了课业辅导和学知识外，这个体制外的学校也利用周末和寒暑假教导孩子们学音乐，但更注重的却是生活生命教育，品格陶冶，培养他们学做人。其实合唱只是手段不是最终的目的，重要的是在合唱学习的过程中去领悟合唱的精神与内涵，学习相互尊重，包容，扶持，合作等做人应有的根本素养，帮助孩子们建立健全完整的人格。In addition to homework counseling and knowledge transfer, this special school also takes advantage of the weekends and winter and summer vacations to teach children music. However, what is emphasized even more is life and character education and the cultivation of children’s overall qualities. In fact, singing in a group is just a means for children to understand the spirit of choir, and to build character as they acquire the qualities of mutual respect, tolerance,support and cooperation.  当然台上一分钟台下十年功 ,那天晚上合唱团台上的成就，是来自马校长和孩子们长达十年的热情和坚持。这些年来，孩子们的父母从开始的怀疑，不谅解，不接受，一直到今天演唱结束后的满面笑容，以及在他们心中为孩子们不断的付出和坚忍所得来的改变与成果感到的骄傲和自豪，我想为此马校长也应该对他十年前开始追逐的一个美梦的慢慢成真，感到十分欣慰。Championships aren't won in the theater of the arena. The excellent performance that evening was the fruit of decade-long persistence and passion of Headmaster Ma and the children. Over the years, the parents have turned from doubting and unaccommodating in the beginning to now gladly applauding and taking pride in the fruit of their children’s perseverance and devotion. I think Headmaster Ma must have been very proud of having had made his dream from ten years ago now come true. 这是一个只有人没有钱的逐梦的故事，这是一个用心花时间坚持到底把没有变成有，把不可能变成可能的故事。 这也是一个素兰和KGKF正在书写的故事。我们希望这个世界上有更多的人愿意用心花时间去书写更多这样感人的故事，因为它为我们有个美好的明天带来了信心和希望。This is a story of a penniless man chasing his dream. This is a story of persevering with heart and time to create something from nothing and to turn the impossible into possible. This is also a story that Sulan Foundation and KGKF are writing. We hope that more people in this world are willing to spend more time and use more heart writing more touching stories because it brings us faith and hope for a better future.
柏拉图曾说过，音乐使宇宙有了灵魂，心灵有了翅膀，想象得以飞翔，使忧伤与欢乐有如醉如痴的力量。Plato once said “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, and life to everything.”
那天晚上孩子们的歌声纯净和谐仿如天籁，它给人们带来了不止是感官的享受，更多的是心灵的震荡。因为那歌声来自孩子们心灵的深处，是发自他们内心最纯净的玉山天籁！That evening, children’s pure and harmonious singing resembled the sounds of nature, which gave people not only enjoyment of the senses but also shocks to the soul, because those song came from the depths of children's souls – the purest sound of Yushan!
